Black Girl Magic Wines Freelance Content Creator (Contract)

Black Girl Magic Wines has one of the top social platforms in the wine industry - it continues to celebrate the new majority through authentic, culturally relevant content that sparks conversation, elevates new voices, and brings people together. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a creative, trend-savvy Organic Content Freelance Creator to help bring our brand to life across organic and paid social channels.

Black Girl Magic Wines was founded by sisters Robin McBride and Andréa McBride John on the belief that wine should be accessible, sustainable, socially conscious, and culturally aware. More than ever, we must continue to transform the industry, lead boldly, and cultivate community—one delicious glass at a time.

This remote contract role supports our Marketing Team and focuses on producing up to 10 pieces of content per week, for organic and paid use across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other owned channels. You’ll collaborate closely with our Brand Team to deliver high-quality, on-brand, performance-optimized content.

What You’ll Do

Content Creation

Design and deliver engaging social assets across Instagram, TikTok, and additional platforms, including video, images, and graphics as needed. (10 per week)
Write performance-focused, platform-native copy aligned with Black Girl Magic Wine’s tone of voice, personality, and purpose.
Adapt visuals and messaging to different placements, formats, and audience goals.
Incorporate performance insights, testing results, and team feedback to continuously refine creative.
Stay plugged into social/audio/visual trends and best practices across major platforms.
Organize, manage, and deliver all final assets on time for placement and scheduling.

Can help the brand show up with consistency, clarity, and personality across every touchpoint.
Atlanta or NYC preferred.

Community Mindset

You create content that makes people feel seen, valued, and part of something bigger.
You understand how to use storytelling, humor, relatability, and heart to deepen community loyalty.
You know how to bring a fearless, culturally attuned brand voice to life—slang, subtlety, humor, and all.

Qualifications

2+ years creating content for paid and organic use for Meta and other major platforms.
Strong design skills; proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
Understanding of platform specs, performance-driven design, and creative best practices.
Portfolio showcasing diverse digital creative work (social, paid, static, video preferred).
Experience with video editing or motion graphics (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut preferred).
Understanding of DTC, CPG, lifestyle, or women-led brands is a strong plus.
Basic knowledge of A/B testing creative and interpreting performance data.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently.

Compensation

Contract Rate: $2,000 per monthTime Commitment: 10–15 hours per week (40–60 hours monthly)
